Born in Montreal, residing in Toronto and fiercely loyal to his childhood stomping ground of Thornhill, ON, Launy Schwartz can commiserate with big-name athletes battling injuries and the long road to recovery.

“I sprained my MCL a few years ago, bending backwards making a big hockey save,” he said. “But now I can walk, talk and chew gum at the same time.”

With a sitcom-esque nickname, “The Schwartz” and enough personality to have his own talk show, Launy says his “brand” is ready for prime time.
